Sir Winston Churchill was one of this country's greatest statesmen, he was born in 1874 in Blenheim Palace and died in 1965 aged 90 and is buried in the little church at Blayton, just a short distance from Blenheim. During your holiday you'll visit Bletchley Park, Blenheim Palace, the market town of Aylesbury as well as Oxford.

Day One

You are collected from your home, join your coach and journey to the National Memorial Arboretum before continuing to your hotel, arriving late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

Day Two

This morning we travel Bletchley Park, once Britain's best kept secret, today Bletchley Park is a unique heritage site and vibrant tourist attraction. Explore, experience and enjoy the top-secret world of iconic WW2 Codebreaking Huts and Blocks set within its atmospheric Victorian estate. We continue to the market town of Aylesbury offering both the history and heritage of its old quarter as well as the modern shopping centres of a contemporary town.

Day Three

We continue our WW2 theme today with an included visit to the birthplace of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture with a permanent Churchill Exhibition, before strolling through the intricate Formal Gardens with Water Terraces and Secret Garden, we continue later to Oxford.

After breakfast we bid farewell and begin our journey home with comfort stops enroute.

You’ll be based at the Mecure Abbey Hall in Milton Keynes, set in a tranquil setting overlooking the Abbey Hill golf course, with newly refurbished contemporary bedrooms. All rooms are equipped with all the facilities you would expect including safe, hairdryer, ironing board and TV. There is also a bar and a restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine.
