Day One

From your home we join our tour coach and travel to South Yorkshire with comfort stops enroute, arriving at our hotel late afternoon, tea/coffee & biscuits served on arrival, time to relax before dinner.

Day Two

This morning we start our visit to Cannon Hall Farm was first opened to the public in 1989. In 2013 seven new farm buildings were opened with the visitor in mind and the farm is now one of the largest farm attractions in the UK. See the day to day workings of a modern farm. After exploring the farm end your visit with a browse in the gift shop or enjoy refreshments in the White Bull Bistro & coffee shop.from here we head for Doncaster and the delightful Brodsworth Hall. Explore the changing fortunes of a wealthy Victorian family and their servants. After years of conservation we can discover 150 years of family life in all its grand, faded opulence. We see the Grand Drawing Room, Billiard room, family bedrooms, Victorian kitchen, all featuring memorabilia from bygone times at the Hall.

Day Three

North Lincolnshire is our destination today, we begin with a visit to Europe's largest antique centres, in the village of Hemswell. Here you will discover a wide range of antiques and collectables to suit all tastes. Later we head north to Elsham Hall Gardens and Country Park near Brigg. The walled garden is a magnificent 4 acre site which has been exceedingly re-landscaped. There is a sensory garden, great drifts of bulbs and wild flowers, vistas, living willow features and much more.

Day Four

We begin with a visit to the historic City of Lincoln, with the awesome Cathedral overlooking the city and next to it the Norman Castle. The old town is a labyrinth of little alleyways and interesting shops to explore, with lots of opportunity to obtain lunch. From Lincoln we head for an afternoon visit to magnificent Doddington Hall for a guided tour. The Hall was completed in 1600 and has never been sold since with over 400 years of unbroken family occupation and this has resulted in fascinating collections of household items.

After breakfast we bid farewell and begin our journey home with refreshment stops enroute.

Our tour is based in South Yorkshire, the commanding 17th century building is steeped in history and proudly combines period charm with every modern convenience.  The beautiful oak panelled reception lounge area offers an ideal opportunity to relax and maybe delve in the history of the hall.  Facilities include Bodyscene leisure with heated pool, spa, sauna and fitness centre.  All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped to the highest standard, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, iron/trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities.
