County Wicklow is known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’, nestled amongst the lush rolling hills are pretty little glens, cascading waterfalls, glassy lakes and intimate villages, join us as we take in some of the finest gardens of the East Coast of Ireland.

 

DAY ONE - Arrival

Departing from your home with our exclusive door to door pick-up service and travel to Holyhead for our morning crossing to Dublin.  Once we disembark we continue our journey across Ireland to our hotel in Arklow, tea/coffee will be served on arrival whilst your luggage is taken to your room, time to relax before dinner.

 

DAY TWO - County Wicklow & Powerscourt House & Gardens

Today we explore beautiful County Wicklow, we see Glendalough, pass the Wicklow Gap and enjoy stunning scenic views of the countryside and the two Blessington Lakes before we arrive at Powerscourt House & Gardens which is one of the most beautiful estates in Ireland.  The Gardens include an extraordinary series of Italianate terraces, a walled garden, rose beds and herbaceous borders, Dolphin Pond and a Japanese Garden.

 

DAY THREE - Mount Usher & Killruddery House & Gardens

This morning we enjoy a visit to the stunning gardens and shops of Mount Usher, which is amongst Ireland’s most treasured gardens by both professionals and the wider public and the gardens were first planted in 1868 in the Robinsonian style. Later we visit Killruddery House & Gardens where nature has never been more relaxing with leisurely walks in one of Ireland’s most renowned gardens, filled with beautiful planting and wooded areas, water features and distinctive outdoor ‘rooms’.  To finish our visit we will enjoy a guided tour of Killruddery House before relaxing in the attractive tea room.

 

DAY FOUR - Irish National Stud & Newbridge Silverware

Our excursion today takes us to the Irish National Stud with its famous Japanese Gardens and even see some of Ireland’s famous racehorses.  Afterwards we visit the famous Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre which houses the complete range of products and the famous Museum of Style icons, time permitting afterwards we may be able to visit the Kildare Shopping Outlet before returning to our hotel.

 

DAY FIVE - Departure

This morning after breakfast we begin our journey home by travelling back to Dublin for our afternoon crossing to Holyhead.
