During this holiday you will have the opportunity to ride on the ‘Poppy Line’ North Norfolk Railway, as well as the narrow-gauge Bure Valley Railway. We also hop on board the ‘Broad Tours’ boat to enjoy a picturesque cruise along Wroxham Broads. Not forgetting a visit to Sandringham House & gardens, this holiday really is for everyone.

DAY ONE - Departure

We depart from your home with our exclusive door to door pick-up service and travel to Norwich, arriving at the Best Western Brook hotel with time to relax before dinner.

 

DAY TWO – Sandringham House & Gardens

Our destination today is Sandringham House and Grounds, the Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, here we have free time to explore and obtain lunch, late afternoon returning to the hotel.

 

DAY THREE – Poppy Line

Today we travel to the resort of Cromer, on the north coast of Norfolk. We stop here before continuing Sheringham, where we enjoy the sea air and a train ride - a steam train on the Poppy Line, from Sheringham to Holt, a pretty Georgian market town with lots of little alleyways to explore.

 

DAY FOUR – Bure Valley Railway & Norfolk Broads Cruise

Today we combine a nostalgic steam train ride with a cruise on the Norfolk Broads. We begin at Aylsham where we join the Bure Valley Railway for the 9 miles ride to Wroxham. At Wroxham we join the boat for a cruise around the Broads.  We will then travel through some of the delightful Broads villages, and return to our hotel with tie to relax before dinner.

 

DAY FIVE - Departure

After breakfast we leave our hotel and begin our journey home.
