We depart from you home before joining your coach and travelling south to Paignton. With comfort stops enroute, well arrive at your hotel with time to relax before dinner.
A day at leisure in Paignton, so you can choose how you'll like to spend your free day.
Maybe explore the Old harbour, perhaps take a boat ride to Torquay (price not included) , or relax in the beautiful gardens, or on the beach. There's plenty to do in this compact resort, from the easily accessible beachfront and promenade, to the traditional pier and seaside amusements.
If you'd like something a little different then why not venture to Paignton Zoo (price not included) and spend your leisure day enjoying the many attractions the zoo has to offer.
Full day excursion to the naval city of Plymouth, come rain or shine, Plymouth, Britains Ocean City is home to breath-taking views, plenty to see and do and lots of fresh, sea air. Located in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable, Plymouth is sandwiched between the incredible South West coastline and the wild beauty of Dartmoor National Park. This is where the 17th century Pilgrim Fathers sailed to America, with a busy harbour and excellent shops.
On our return we visit to Totnes on the River Dart. A unique and charming historic market town that combines breathtaking beautiful countryside with a fascinating history.
By the 12th Century Totnes had established its self as a market town and prospered throughout the medieval period. In recent times it has gained a reputation as a centre for learning, arts, alternative lifestyles and culture. Much of Totnes fascinating history can be seen around the town, there are many historic buildings lining the streets, the atmospheric Guildhall which has been the home of the town council for over 450 years not forgetting the Norman motte and bailey castle which overlooks the town.
A trip to Totnes is not complete without a visit to the Brutus Stone, which can be found in Fore Street, set into the pavement. This stone is meant to mark the spot where Trojan Prince, Brutus, disembarked from his ship. As he stepped ashore on to the stone he said Here I stand, and here I rest. The town shall be called Totnes.
Today an excursion to the Cathedral city of Exeter, a small city that packs a big punch.
Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England. Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, Exeter has a long and rich history and is home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum where visitors can explore the citys 2,000-year history under one roof!
Exeter has a real sense of individuality, its varied cultural scene is embraced by proud locals, and the diverse mix of eateries means it is renowned as one of the foodie capitals of the South West.
The city's location in the heart of Devon, surrounded by miles of countryside and close to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, means there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery.

A full day excursion to Tavistock & Dartmoor National Park Tavistock is a flourishing and friendly town which also possesses world heritage status setting the town apart. The vibrancy and uniqueness of Tavistock is undeniable with a range of local independent shops and not to be overlooked is the famous pannier market. We continue later through the Dartmoor National Park with its stunning views, awe inspiring tors, deep wooded valleys and fast flowing rivers.
