Tenby & South West Wales, with its glorious sandy beaches and seemingly endless Pembrokeshire rugged coastline, is your natural backdrop to your holiday.

Staying in Tenby is the ideal place for visiting this delightful corner of Wales. You’ll visit Saundersfoot, and the Gower Heritage Centre as well as Mumbles, St Bride’s Bay, Newgale Sands and St David’s.

Day one

Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Tenby and arriving late afternoon at Park Hotel. 4 nights stay - dinner, bed and breakfast. Hotel entertainment is provided on one or two evenings.

Day Two

This morning we travel the short distance to the popular small seaside resort of Saundersfoot, where we stay awhile with time to explore the little harbour, before leaving for the short ride to Tenby. With the old town walls, interesting little side streets and alleyways to explore and superb beaches, Tenby is South West Wales's main holiday resort and is always a pleasant and friendly place to visit.

Day Three

Today's excursion takes us to the stunningly beautiful Gower Peninsula. We take a break at the Gower Heritage Centre where we can learn some of the history of the area, designated as an 'Area of outstanding natural beauty' This afternoon we also visit the picture postcard resort of Mumbles, delightfully located on Swansea Bay

Day Four

Today our excursion takes us to St Bride's Bay and Newgale Sands to the magical place of St. David's, birthplace of the patron saint of Wales. St. David's has a beautiful Cathedral, the smallest in Great Britain, well worth a visit. From St. David's we head around the Preseli Mountains and make our way back to Tenby.

After breakfast we leave and begin our homeward journey.

Park Hotel

 

You’ll be based at the Park Hotel, a traditional yet elegant family run hotel perched on a cliff top with superb views overlooking Tenby.

Hotel facilities include a lift to all floors, landscaped lawns, cliff top terraces and a garden bar. All bedrooms are en-suite and have television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
