Travel to Sheffield and begin the Gardens theme of this tour with a visit to Sheffield Botanical Gardens. The gardens cover 19 acres and were first opened in 1836. The site now has fifteen different garden areas featuring plants from all over the world, including Mediterranean, Asian, American prairie-style, woodland and rock-and-water plantings. Continue to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day Two

After a leisurely breakfast, we depart for the medieval market town of Beverley. The town is famous for its 13th Century Minster, market & music. Tucked away down narrow streets are antique shops and craft arcades, and on every other corner is a pub full of history and atmosphere. This afternoon we continue to Burton Agnes Gardens for the Snowdrop Spectacular. This award winning garden is beautiful any time of the year but in February the highlight is the blanket of Snowdrops on the woodland walk. We return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day Three

Today we bid farewell to our hosts after breakfast and begin our journey home stopping at Hardwick Hall a National Trust property built in 1590 and is an exponent of the Renaissance style of architecture, arriving back in our local area late afternoon.
