Home pick-up before travelling to Hampshire stopping enroute for lunch, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

This morning enjoy a relaxing cruise of around 2 hours on a traditional style canal boat on the Basingstoke Canal. We cruise through peaceful and attractive scenery and light refreshment are available on board. After our cruise we continue to Basingstoke and to Milestones, this is a living history museum where you wander down cobbled streets, chat with staff in period costume and explore the shops and factories to experience everyday life from 1810 to 1950.

Today we begin with a visit to the pleasant town of Alton, here we join the Mid Hants Railway 'The Watercress Line' for a 10 mile journey over the Hampshire Alps to Alresford which is the home of the Hampshire watercress industry, from which the line takes its name. Later we continue to spend the afternoon in historic Winchester with its magnificent Cathedral.

A complete change today as we have a tour the coast and Portsmouth is our destination, visit the Historic Dockyard, home of 'Victory & Mary Rose', wander around the old town and visit the cathedral as well as Spice Island, former haunt of smugglers and press gangs. Enjoy a stroll along the seafront or just sit and relax and watch the ships and ferries coming and going.

This morning after breakfast we depart for home.
