This morning we visit the city of St Albans, first built as Verulamium by the Romans, the city was renamed St Albans after the first British Christian Martyr. Its magnificient cathedral dominates the skyline. Afternoon visit to Knebworth House & Gardens, with over 500 years of English History reflected in the house and in all that time it has been the family home of the Lytton Family.
