After breakfast a full day excursion of the Antrim Coast. First to the coastal town of Port Rush and onto the mighty Giants Causeway, created by volcanic activity a strange mix of Hexagonal columns. Legend is that the giant Finn MacCool laid a path across the sea to his ladylove in Scotland. We then follow one of the finest marine drives in Europe along the Antrim Coast road, passing spectacular scenery and through the National Trust village of Cushendun, return to your hotel for dinner.

We join our local guide for a tour of the city of Belfast, a fascinating and vibrant city the tour will reveal the wealth enjoyed during the Industrial Revolution and include City Hall and Queens University. Belfast has the only working liquor saloon owned by the National Trust, you will be amazed by what Belfast has to offer.

Today a tour of County Down via Saintford to Downpatrick where it is reputed St Patrick is buried in the grounds of the Cathedral then onto Newcastle 'where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea'. Continue along the shoreline through Kilkeel to Rostrevor on the north side of Carlingford Lough, head inland to Banbridge where suppliers of linen to the Royal Family have their factory. Complete the journey via Hillsborough, a charming Georgian town return to your hotel for dinner.

This morning we bid a sad farewell and begin our return journey with a lunch time crossing from Belfast to Stranraer, then we follow the Solway Firth Coast to Dumfries and then continue south homeward bound.
