DAY ONE – Nantwich, Arrival and The Antiques Experience
We depart from your selected pick up point, and first visit the Nantwich, this charming historical market town is set beside the River Weaver, with a rich history, a wealth of beautiful timber framed buildings, a quaint town square with memorial tribute, and a wide range of specialty shops as well as one of the finest medieval town churches in Britain, St Mary’s.
We then travel the short distance to our hotel, a four-hundred-year-old Jacobean mansion, and, after dinner this evening, we enjoy an entertaining talk from your host, celebrity antiques expert David Harper or Kate Blis. Learn more about the world of antiques and bring your antiques along (small items only) to find out how much your antiques are worth if you wanted to 'Flog It'!
A fantastic opportunity to get specialist advice from one of Britain’s best loved antiques presenters. David Harper is well known for his appearances as an expert valuer on TV programmes such as FLOG IT, Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunt and Kate Bliss is well known for appearing on Bargain Hunt, FLOG IT!, Secret Dealers and Put your Money Where Your Mouth is.
DAY TWO – Llangollen and Departure
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel, make a stop at at Llangollen before continuing our journey home.
