After lunch, we head to the amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan where you will be welcomed by a member of the team and escorted to the gardens. On Floras Green there will be an introduction to the history of the Heligan Estate along with the magnificent success story of its restoration. We then enjoy a cream tea before time at leisure to explore over 200 acres of garden paradise and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings, including the spectacular jungle! It is one of the only conservation projects open to the public worldwide. The Visitor Centre allows you to get up close and personal with rarely seen lobster babies, pregnant lobster mamas, giant lobsters and other weird and wonderful coastal creatures.
In the afternoon, we travel to Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm for a 60-minute guided tour and tasting of this excellent traditional brewery.
