Enjoy the expansive and mesmerizing landscape of the Peak District as we travel on our day out. Firstly, stopping at Buxton, a spa town in the High Peak District of Derbyshire. It is Buxton Well Dressing season; an ancient custom celebrated mainly in limestone districts of the Peak District in Derbyshire. Thought to date back to Roman and Celtic times when communities would dress wells to give thanks for fresh water supplies. Designs feature everything from biblical stories to special anniversaries.

We then travel the short distance to the largest town in the Peak District National Park, Bakewell. Perhaps best known for its unique and delicious Pudding, experience the original 'delicious mistake' at one of the bakeries. Bakewell has many more tempting treats to offer - ranging from shopping and specialist markets to relaxing strolls and special events.

However, you decide to spend your day, we know you will have a wonderful time making new memories and new travelling friends.

YOUR ITINERARY

We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel to the heart of the Peak District National Park to Buxton arriving at approx. 11am, Buxton is the home of Buxton Water, and famous for its magnificent Crescent, recently opened as a spa hotel. We’ll have some time here to wander around and have some lunch before making the short journey to Bakewell the biggest town in the Peak District National Park arriving at approx. 2.30pm.

We depart at 4.30pm to make our journey home via the famous ‘Cat & Fiddle’ towards Macclesfield, then home-ward bound.

Day trip places are allocated on a first come first served basis and are limited. Prices displayed are per person unless otherwise stated.
