    DAY ONE – Travel to Spain

    We depart from your home early and travel south Plymouth to board the Brittany Ferries ferry to Santander. Relax and enjoy a night on board the ship, where inside cabins are provided. Enjoy award winning service and top-class facilities, including a choice of restaurants, stylish lounges and comfortable cabins.

    DAY TWO – Arrival in Isla

    We arrive atSantanderat around 14:00 and make the short journey to our hotel in Isla with where we are met with a welcome drink and appetisers. You’ll have time to relax before dinner this evening.

    DAY THREE – Isla

    Aday at leisure to relax, in the village or enjoying the hotel’s facilities.

    DAY FOUR – Santillana del Mar and Comillas

    Today we visit Santillana del Mar, a fascinating village on the World Heritage List, best described as a living museum. Stroll the cobbled streets and visit the many artisan shops offering local arts and crafts. In the afternoon stop in Comillas, the ‘City of Archbishops’ with its grand architecture and historic centre, before returning to Isla.

    DAY FIVE – Picos de Europa National Park, San Vincente and Potes

    A full day today to the impressive Picos De Europa mountain range. We’ll stop San Vicente, a picturesque town on the coast with the astonishing backdrop of the Picos de Europa. Before joining the River Deva Valley, passing through a canyon, and on to Potes, a mediaeval town with traditional buildings, wooden balconies and surrounded by mountains. A lovely market town set high in the mountains.

    DAY SIX – Castro Urdiales and Santona

    Today we travel to the traditional fishing village ofCastro Urdialeswith its pretty harbour and attractive centre, before we visitSantona.

    DAY SEVEN – Bilbao

    A day today to explore Bilbaowhich has the internationally renowned Guggenheim Museum. There is also a historic quarter with seven pedestrianised streets running perpendicular to the river.

    DAY EIGHT – Isla

    Aday at leisure to relax, in the village or enjoying the hotel’s facilities.

    DAY NINE – Departure and Overnight Crossing

    Today we will leave our hotel and make our journey back to Santander for our 17:00 overnight ferry crossing, where inside cabins are provided.

    DAY TEN – Plymouth and Home

    We arrive back in Plymouth at around 14:00 following our overnight crossing and continue our journey home.
