DAY ONE Aberaeron and Arrival
We depart from your home and we make our way to Cardigan Bay, we will stop in Aberaeron on our journey down, where you can stretch your legs and explore this pretty little town, before we continue our journey to Cardigan. Enjoy a welcome tea/coffee on arrival at our hotel.
DAY TWO Tenby
Today a visit to South Wales premier resort of Tenby with its medieval stone wall old town of narrow streets and picturesque harbour.
DAY THREE Carmarthen and Cenarth Falls
This morning we visit Carmarthen to enjoy the atmosphere of this charming market town, on our return we discover the historic village of Cenarth to see the spectacular Falls.
There is a wooden walkway along the river, but please wear sensible shoes. Well then return to our hotel where we have a light lunch today, and time to relax this afternoon.
DAY FOUR - National Wool Museum Cardigan
Today we visit the National Wool Museum, discover the spellbinding story of the Welsh woollen industry. Wool was historically the most important and widespread of Wales's industries. The picturesque village of Dre-fach Felindre in the beautiful Teifi Valley was once the centre of a thriving woollen industry, earning the nickname 'The Huddersfield of Wales'
Located in the historic former Cambrian Mills, shirts and shawls, blankets and bedcovers, woollen stockings and socks were all made here, and sold in the surrounding countryside - and to the rest of the world.
The café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks, and the museum also has a gift shop.
DAY FIVE Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, this morning we depart and make our journey home with refreshment stops en route.
