DAY ONE – Arrival
We depart from your home for your journey to Cornwall, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.
DAY TWO – St Ives Christmas Eve
No Christmas visit to Cornwall would be complete without a stop in enchanting St Ives.
Twinkling lights reflect off the harbour as you wander through a maze of narrow cobbled streets, lined with independent shops, artisan studios, and fishermen’s cottages dressed for the season.
Feel the festive spirit in every corner as you explore this charming seaside town, bursting with creativity and Christmas cheer.
We then make our way back to the hotel so you can get ready for Santa in the morning.
DAY THREE – Newquay Christmas Day
Merry Christmas – Today is Christmas Day, and yours to enjoy, with a gift from Santa, a Christmas Lunch, and an afternoon at the hotel with the opportunity to watch the King’s Speech, and enjoy a fun Christmas Quiz, as well as a buffet this evening with live musical entertainment.
DAY FOUR – Penzance Boxing Day
We begin Boxing Day with a relaxing visit to Penzance, where the gentle hush of winter meets the sparkle of the holiday season.
Take a relaxed stroll through the historic town centre and harbour, where the sea breeze mingles with the warmth of festive lights. The seafront and South Pier are wonderfully calm on Boxing Day to blow away the cobwebs — perfect for breathing in the crisp air and enjoying a moment of seasonal serenity.
Whether you choose to settle into a cosy café for a hearty winter bite, browse charming local shops, or simply soak up the tranquil ambience, Penzance provides a beautifully serene setting to enjoy the quieter side of the season. It’s the ideal way to ease into Boxing Day, wrapped in coastal scenery and warm Cornish character.
We then make our way back to the hotel for afternoon tea.
DAY FIVE – Departure
After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

This Esplanade Hotel is in a lovely seafront position, opposite Fistral Beach with outstanding views of the bay. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations, and all 90 comfortable bedrooms have a homely feel with excellent fittings and are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a large, bright restaurant and an open plan lounge which both offer panoramic sea views and there is also a modern bar and sun terrace. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa bath and gym. Hotel has a lift.
All single rooms are double/twin for sole occupancy.
