    DAY ONE – Arrival

    We depart from your home and travel to Devon arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

    DAY TWO – Totnes

    After a leisurely morning, we’ll leave late morning for an afternoon excursion to Totnes. Discover the postcard-pretty, bustling town, lively independent shops and cafés, all in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle.

    We’ll then return to our hotel later this afternoon with time to relax before dinner this evening.

    DAY THREE – Sidmouth

    Always a favourite this morning we travel to Sidmouth, with its red sandstone cliff which dates to the Triassic period. You have the day at leisure here, why not take a stroll along Millennium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach or relax in the stylish café’s and watch the world go by. We’ll then return to our hotel mid-afternoon when you have time to relax before dinner this evening.

    DAY FOUR – Exeter

    Today we visit Exeter. A small city that packs a big punch, Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England.

    Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, Exeter’s history is rich and long. Why not visit the unique Underground Passages, the magnificent Cathedral, imposing Roman wall and beautiful Quayside. Not only that Exeter is also home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

    DAY FIVE – Kents Cavern and Babbacombe Model Village

    This morning, we will visit Kents Cavern is one of the most important Stone Age sites in Europe and one of Britain's best show caves. Today you’ll go back to a time when the cave was home to ancient humans, sheltering from extreme weather, making fires, shaping tools and hunting Ice Age animals. As you walk through the extensive labyrinth of caverns, you'll be surrounded by 400-million-year-old rocks and spectacular stalagmites and stalactites.

    We’ll then visit the Babbacombe Model Village. Feel like a giant as you step through the small entrance and the vastminiature worldopens up before you. Explore4 acres of award-winning gardensshowcasing beautiful streams and waterfalls. The idyllic setting for hundreds of models, scenes and over 13,000 miniature residents!

    The Model Village is set in a large, beautiful valley and portrays a generic version of Britain through the decades with some well-known landmarks and a few twists.

    You can then spend some time in Babbacombe, perhaps walking along the promenade, or perhaps take a ride on the Cliff Railway down to the bottom of the cliffs.

    DAY SIX– Torquay and Bygones Victorian Museum

    This morning we see, smell and hear the bustle of 100 years of history, at the Bygones Victorian Museum, with the hustle and bustle ofVictorian Life, 15 shops and 8 period rooms, all filled with authentic items. Railway fans will love our 27-tonsteam train, as well as the captivating 28 footmodel railway.

    TheWartime Britainexhibition pays respect to both World Wars, where you can walk through our World War Trench and Shelters. Large displays of Militaria items from Waterloo to WWI, WWII and the Gulf War.

    Shop through the Decadesand see how Britains shops emerged from the war with the range of 40, 50s and 60s shop displays.

    Some time then to relax, as the rest of the day is yours at leisure.

    DAY SEVEN – Departure

    After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
