    DAY ONE – Arrival

    We depart from your home and travel to Hereford for lunch then onto your hotel where tea & coffee will be served on arrival whilst your luggage is taken to your room. Time to relax before dinner.

    DAY TWO – Bath and Parade House Trowbridge

    This morning, we head to Bath enjoy free time to explore the historic sites, you may choose to look at the Roman Baths, or the ancient Abbey, or perhaps enjoy a relaxing time in one of the many cafes and watch the world go by.

    This afternoon we visit Parade House. Featured on BBC Antiques Road Trip and winner of Trowbridge’s Town Enhancement Award 2023, Parade House is a stunning Grade 1 Listed Georgian townhouse, lovingly restored to its former glory by owners and locals Simon and Carey Tesler.

    Arrive in Trowbridge’s “stretch of Palaces” and enter an atmosphere of regency grandeur. With an owner as your private guide, ascend the sweeping 18th-century carved staircase and explore rooms faithfully adorned with authentic antiques, costume exhibitions and Bridgerton-inspired décor.

    Receive a warm, butler-esque welcome to your elegant Regency Afternoon Tea in the opulent ballroom and dine on delectable patisseries served on vintage china. A final treat – the Jane Austen Dancers of Bath revive the era with a lively performance in authentic Empire-line attire. Applaud dances from Jane Austen’s era and her book adaptations, and if you're tempted, join in and learn a dance yourself!

    Please note this experience is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is no lift so guests must be able to use stairs.

    DAY THREE – Painswick Rococo Garden and Cheltenham

    This morning, we visit Painswick Rococo Garden. Meander around a serene Cotswolds paradise at Painswick, the UK's last remaining rococo gardens, led by the Garden Director, your guide to uncovering the secret 18th-century spirit of liberation, fun, and nature in this whimsical oasis.

    Designed in the 1740s as a fanciful pleasure garden for the owner of Painswick House and his guests, today it’s a place to roam free, to get up close and personal with nature, or to feel the warmth of the sun on your face as you take in the spectacular views of the Cotswold countryside and magical follies.

    In 1748, Benjamin Hyett asked local artist, Thomas Robins to paint the garden. Little did he know that this very painting would be used as inspiration for the restoration of the Garden from the 1970s right up to the present day.

    This afternoon we visit Cheltenham, a wonderful mix of the traditional and the new, with a unique festival vibe, an abundance of independent and much loved High Streetshops, and incrediblediningexperiences from street food to Michelin starred fine dining. There’s something for everyone.

    DAY FOUR – Coggers Manor Farm and Cotswolds Tour

    Unearth rural bliss on a guided tour of Cogges Manor, an acclaimed working farm boasting over 1000 years of history. Nestled against a 13th-century manor house and Grade II listed 18th-century farm buildings, it's an idyllic retreat predating the Domesday Book. For Downton Abbey enthusiasts, this was the iconic Yew Tree Farm, gracing screens from series 4 to 6 and the latest movie.

    Explore the flourishing Kitchen Garden, stroll along the river's edge, and wander through verdant pastures. Embrace the community spirit by savouring locally sourced, farm-fresh delights at the café (at guests’ own cost) - the scones are an absolute must!

    Please note, there are stairs to access the first floor.

    This afternoon we’ll take in a delightful Cotswolds Tour in our coach, and call at the many lovely villages and towns in the area before returning to our hotel.

    DAY FIVE - Departure

    After breakfast, this morning we depart our hotel and travel through Malvern Hills to Worcester for lunch, before continuing our journey home.
