DAY ONE

We depart from your home with our exclusive door to door pick-up service, join your tour coach and travel south to Dawlish with comfort stops enroute, time to relax before dinner.

 

DAY TWO

After a leisurely breakfast we travel down to Paignton with its extensive sandy beaches and popular pier, later we continue to the old fishing port of Brixham where you can enjoy a stroll around the harbour side and admire the replica of the Golden Hind.

 

DAY THREE

Our excursion today takes us to Powderham Castle, situated overlooking the Exe estuary and nearly 600 years of history are contained within the walls of one of England’s oldest family homes and our guided tour reveals secret doors, stunning castle rooms, amazing architecture including the restored Victorian Kitchen where you can visualize what life would have been like in domestic service.  This afternoon we continue to Exeter, the regional capital with over 2000 years of history including the magnificent Cathedral, the unique Underground Passages and the world class Royal Albert Memorial Museum.  Historically a major port the quayside area is now focused towards leisure with a number of cafes and restaurants.

 

DAY FOUR

Today we travel to Sidmouth, known as the ‘Jewel of the Jurassic Coast’ this lovely unspoilt resort with its regency architecture, elegant promenade and red sandstone cliffs overlooks the waters of Lyme Bay on a stretch of World Heritage coastline.  With its mild climate Sidmouth is a town for all seasons, where you can enjoy gentle walk along the seafront and into the parks and gardens with their stunning views.

 

DAY FIVE

This morning after breakfast we must bid farewell to our hosts and begin our homeward journey with comfort stops enroute.

Set in 19 acres of peaceful woodland overlooking the Exe Estuary and just a short walk from the beach via a public footpath, 64 comfortable bedrooms all tastefully decorated and complete with telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities & TV, the hotel also has a lift to all floors.  The Lincoln Bar is situated in the heart of the hotel and is adjacent to the lounge, Veranda & Drawing room all of which are fronted by a magnificent Victorian cast iron colonial veranda with breath-taking sea views.  The hotel also has an indoor & outdoor pool.
