    DAY ONE – Arrival

    Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Norfolk and arriving late afternoon at the Dukes Head Hotel King's Lynn with time to relax before dinner.

    DAY TWO – Norwich and Norfolk Broads Paddle Steamer Cruise

    Today we take you into the city of Norwich for the morning to sightsee, enjoy some retail therapy or just relax, enjoy lunch, and watch the world go by. The Cathedral in Norwich is well worth a visit, as is the cobbled Elm Hill district. This afternoon we have a drive to Horning where we join the Mississippi Paddle Steamer ‘Southern Comfort’ for a delightfulcruise around the Norfolk Broads.

    DAY THREE – Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse

    Today we visit Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, near East Dereham. This fascinating museum and historic farm are set in 50 acres of beautiful Norfolk countryside. The museum farm is run as a traditional Norfolk farm might have been between 1900 and 1930, and there are many rare breed animals to see. Discover the history of the workhouse and the story of the people who lived there, relax in the delightful gardens, and enjoy the Mardler’s Rest café.

    DAY FOUR – Cromer, Sheringham and Blickling Hall

    Today we head north from Norwich to visit the popular resort of Cromer. There is time to explore and have lunch. Or maybe take refreshments at the Hatters Tea Shop, we’ll then move along the coast to Sheringham, where we have a little time to enjoy this delightful place.

    From here we make our way south and visit Blickling Hall, now in the care of the National Trust. One of England’s great Jacobean Houses, Blickling is famed for its spectacular Long Gallery and collections of furniture, pictures, books, and tapestries. The gardens are full of colour throughout the year, and the extensive parkland has a lake with beautiful woodland and lakeside walks.

    DAY FIVE – Departure

    After breakfast we leave our hotel and begin our journey home, making comfort stops en-route.
