DAY ONE

We depart from your home and begin your holiday with our exclusive door to door pick-up service, join your tour coach and travel northwards to Scotland with comfort stops enroute.  Arrive at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

DAY TWO

Today we travel to Loch Ness, the second largest Scottish loch after Loch Lomond, here we enjoy a 2 hour Jacobite cruise to see if we can catch a glimpse of ‘Nessie’, the famous monster, we also get to see the 14th century ruins of Urquhart Castle.  At the southern tip of the loch is Fort Augustus where there is time to explore the town, watch the boats navigating the locks at the start of the Caledonian Canal.

DAY THREE

This morning we take a leisurely and outstandingly scenic journey towards the Isle of Skye, when we thread our way between lochs and mountains to reach Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most recognised castles in Scotland.  The views across to the Cuillin mountain range of Skye and along Loch Duich towards the dramatic Five Sisters of Kintail are simply magnificent, we cross the Skye Bridge to Kyleakin before retracing our steps back to Inverness and our hotel.

DAY FOUR

Our journey today is a little shorter as we cross the Moray Firth to the Black Isle.  We visit Cromarty, a sleepy fishing village distinguished by its Georgian merchant houses and quaint fishermen’s cottages.  We return to Inverness where there is free time to perhaps visit the Castle and explore medieval Church Street, home to the town’s oldest surviving buildings.

DAY FIVE

Today after breakfast we leave the Highlands and begin our journey home with comfort stops enroute.

YOUR HOLIDAY INCLUDES

  • Luxury coach travel

  • Home pick up

  • 4 nights accommodation, dinner & breakfast
