Admire two magnificent châteaux on our wonderful tour: the Palace and Gardens of Versailles and a unique visit to the Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte by candlelight, as well as visiting Monet’s House and Gardens and enjoying a cruise on the River Seine.

DAY ONE – Arrival
We depart from your home and travel to Dover for our crossing to Calais, we will then head south to our hotel in Saclay.
DAY TWO – Chateau De Versailles and Bateaux Parisian Cruise
Today we have a half-day guided tour of the Palace and Gardens of Versailles, considered to be one of the most magnificent achievements of the 18th century. Highlights are the awe-inspiring Hall of Mirrors and the astonishingly beautiful palatial grounds. Then headinginto central Paris for a seventy-minute cruise across the capital on the River Seine.
DAY THREE – Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte
Spend a morning of leisure and enjoy lunch at the hotel (instead of dinner) before boarding the coach in the afternoon to visit another beautiful chateau, Vaux-le-Vicomte. Spend the evening exploring this magical estate by the flickering lights of 2,000 candles.
DAY FOUR – Monet’s Gardens and House and Vernon
After an early breakfast this morning, we travel to Monet's country retreat in Giverny where we visit the impressionist painter's charming pink house and iconic gardens. Relax in the gardens and explore at leisure admiring the Japanese bridge and famous waterlily pond. Later, travel to the pretty neighbouring village of Vernon, discover over 200 half-timbered houses with ancient doors and carved timbers, wrought iron shop signs, cobbled paths and the famous Old Mill as you explore the picturesque village, allowing time for you to obtain lunch if you wish, perhaps visit the church and museums or take a leisurely stroll on the less crowded banks of the River Seine with a picnic of bread, cheese and wine purchased in the village.
DAY FIVE - Departure
After breakfast this morning we depart our hotel andmake our way backto Calais and our crossing, and on arrival in Dover continue our journey home.
