We’ll take to the water and enjoy cruises on Loch Lomond and Loch Katrine as well as scenic train journeys and a ride on the unique Falkirk Wheel, the world’s first rotating boat lift.

    DAY ONE - Arrival

    We depart from your home and travel north to Drymen, a beautiful scenic drive through Cumbria and Lanarkshire. We arrive and have time to settle in before dinner this evening.

    DAY TWO – The Trossachs and Loch Katrine Steam Ship Cruise

    A full day today exploring the Trossachs which includes a two-hour cruise along the length of Loch Katrine on board the Steam Ship SS Sir Walter Scott.

    DAY THREE – Falkirk Wheel and Bo’Ness and Kinneil Steam Railway

    Today we have a journey to Falkirk and a trip on The Falkirk Wheel, a rotating boat lift in central Scotland, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. We also enjoy an afternoon train ride on the Bo’Ness and Kinneil steam railway with afternoon tea served on board.

    DAY FOUR – Glasgow Scotrail Journey andOban

    We travel to Glasgow where we join our Scotrail train for a scenic journey to Oban, one of Scotland’s most scenic rail routes. Time available for sightseeing in Oban before return to the hotel by coach and dinner this evening.

    DAY FIVE – Loch Lomond Cruise

    Explore Loch Lomond with a stop at Lomond Shores for shopping followed by a two hour cruise on the loch discovering its hidden islands.

    DAY SIX – Departure

    Today we depart our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

    Situated on the pretty village green in the conservation village of Drymen, located in the heart of the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Sensitively extended and refurbished, whilst retaining all its traditional charm, the hotel offers friendly hospitality and comfortable accommodation. Restaurant, Bar & Conservatory Lounge. There is no lift, but some ground floor rooms may be available.
