First you could discover the colourful houses of Cobh harbour home to the pier from which many boarded the ill-fated Titanic, or pucker up for a trip to Blarney Castle to kiss its famous stone, so much to see including Spike Island prison, Killybegs Irelands largest fishing port & Galway, steeped in history.
The iconic highlights continue in historic Belfast which is the gateway to the breathtaking Giants Causeway and the birthplace of Titanic too and visiting the site where it was built features on many a-to-do-list.
Dublin, time in the city can be spent tracking down the Book of Kells, a hand-illuminated manuscript of the Gospels in Trinity College or perhaps uncover the vibrant culture of the famous Temple Bar district and fans of the black stuff are well-advised to visit the popular Guinness Storehouse.
