    THE ISLE OF MAN

    12 - 16 October 2026

    Monday – Friday

    5 Days

    From £679

The fascinating Isle of Man has over 200 square miles of beautiful unspoilt countryside and a coastline with little coves and superb beaches. Our base is Ramsey, the main town in the north, with a busy shopping street, a harbour in daily use and a sandy beach which lays claim to being the sunniest spot on the island! With excursions to both the north and south of the island, we feel this will be a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

    HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

Isle of Man | Laxey Woollen Mill | Douglas | Castletown | Peel | Port Erin

    DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Heysham to connect with the afternoon sailing to the Isle of Man.

DAY TWO – Laxey, Laxey Woollen Mill and Ramsey

Our excursion today takes us south to the village of Laxey - home to ‘Lady Isabella’. Serving the mine for over 70 years, this is the largest surviving waterwheel of its kind in the world. There is also the famous Laxey Woollen Mill where wool from Manx Loaghtan sheep is spun into delightful garments. Later, we return to Ramsey and have the rest of the afternoon free to explore at leisure.

DAY THREE – Peel, Port Erin and Castletown

We begin the day with a ride to the west coast and the beautiful fishing port of Peel. Here we have a chance to look around before continuing to the southern side of the island and Port Erin with its beautiful bay. After spending some time here, we continue along the southern coast to Castletown where we spend time exploring before travelling back to our hotel.

DAY FOUR – St Johns and Douglas

This morning we make our way southwest to St Johns, home to Tynwald Hill – the symbol of Isle of Man independence. We enjoy some free time here to explore.

Later we travel east to visit Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man. You have the chance to enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Take a stroll along the promenade, browse through the shops or just sit and watch the world go by.

    DAY FIVE– Departure

After breakfast we return to the harbour for the crossing to Heysham, continuing on the way to our home area and arriving in the evening.
