The Royal Mint | Cardiff
We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel to Cardiff, afternoon at leisure for shopping and sightseeing before checking into our hotel, time to relax before dinner.
This morning after breakfast we depart our hotel and head to Llantrisant and the Royal Mint, after a short film which sets the scene you will join your guide for a short walk to the factory experience.
Learn how blank pieces of metal are transformed into the coins that we use every day and watch the process in action from a viewing area above the striking hall, for a small charge you could have the chance to strike your own coin, a unique memento of your visit.
Afterward explore the six zones of the Mints Interactive Exhibition, learn about its long history and find out more about the coins it produces for over 90 different countries. Leaving The Mint we will continue our journey home.
