Join us as we travel to Cornwall where we delve into the making of this famous Cornish delicacy.  During your stay in Cornwall you may possibly treat yourself to a Cream Tea, one of the great debates between Devon and Cornwall which neither can agree on is; cream or jam first? Day One

We depart from your home and travel south with comfort stops enroute to our hotel, arriving late afternoon, tea/coffee and biscuits will be served on our arrival whilst your luggage is taken to your room.  Time to relax before dinner.

 

Day Two

This morning we have a short drive to the cathedral city of Truro where you will have time to explore, visit Lemon Quay, browse the many shops or just watch the world go by.  Enjoy lunch in one of the many pubs, restaurants and cafes before we leave for the small resort of Mevagissey for the afternoon.

 

Day Three

Today takes us to Falmouth, which has plenty of coastline to explore, perhaps visit the National Maritime Museum during your visit.  In Falmouth we have arranged a visit to the famous Choaks Cornish Pasty Makers for over 50 years, here you will learn how to make your own pasty and learn the ancient art of crimping (not as easy as it looks!) afterward you will receive a certificate and get to eat your own pasty.  Later in the afternoon we visit St Ives, where you can perhaps get a cup of tea overlooking the picturesque seafront and harbour.

 

Day Four

After breakfast the morning is at leisure in Newquay, only a few minutes away from our hotel, here you can explore the town or perhaps Newquay Museum, you could also obtain lunch.  This afternoon we head through the Cornish countryside to the town of Bodmin, one of Cornwall’s oldest towns and the start point of the Cornish Rebellion.  On our return to our hotel we make a stop at Bedruthan Steps where perhaps you could enjoy a hot drink looking out to sea.

 

Day Five

This morning we bid farewell and begin our journey home with refreshments stops enroute.

The Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa is set in the beautiful Cornish landscape, only metres from the cliffs and sapphire water and minutes from Fistral Beach and the town of Newquay.  All bedrooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities.  The hotel also hosts a range of leisure facilities including pool, hot tub, gym, bar/lounge and spa, the hotel also has a lift.
