DAY ONE - Arrival
We begin our pre-festive break with our exclusive home pick-up service, join your tour coach and travel north across the border into Scotland with comfort stops en route. Time to relax before dinner.
DAY TWO – Edinburgh – Christmas Day
Today we have a full day in Edinburgh, time to visit its famous sights including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and the Royal Mile. Guaranteed snow on Christmas Day at the hotel thanks to the snow machine, creating the perfect winter wonderland. What’s Christmas without a traditional dinner, and a visit from Santa.
DAY THREE – Steamship Cruise
Today we travel through Aberfoyle and over the Dukes Pass to Loch Katrine, a drive often listed as one of the most beautiful in Britain, here we will board our steamship and with the beauty of the loch unfolding before your eyes we cruise the length of the Loch with ‘Carolling all the Way’.
DAY FOUR – Stirling & Dunblane - Hogmanay
After a leisurely breakfast our travels take us firstly to Stirling, rich in history and legends, which has one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland. We then continue to the Victorian spa town of Dunblane. A delicious 4-course Scottish Menu including a taste of Haggis & Whisky Sauce await you, followed by the Traditional address to the Haggis, Bagpipes & Highland dancer. Get up on your feet and join the ceilidh dancing.
DAY FIVE - Departure
After breakfast, a Farewell Hot Toddy, we then begin our journey home with comfort stops en route.
