(30) DAY ONE - Journey to Belfast
We depart from your home and travel north to Cairnryan for our ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival in Northern Ireland, we continue to La Mon Hotel & Country Club, our home for the next four nights, where we settle in before dinner this evening.
(31) DAY TWO - Ulster Folk Museum and Belfast Step-on Guided Tour
This morning we visit the Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra, a remarkable living museum where historic buildings, traditional skills and stories bring the past to life. Explore at your own pace and discover what everyday life was like in Ulster more than a century ago.
This afternoon, we are joined by a local step-on guide for a tour of Belfast. Sit back and enjoy an introduction to the city as we discover its landmarks, heritage and fascinating stories before returning to our hotel for dinner.
(1) DAY THREE - Crumlin Road Gaol and McConnell’s Distillery
Today we head into Belfast for two fascinating visits. We begin at Crumlin Road Gaol, where a self-guided experience brings more than 150 years of history to life through the former prison's cells, tunnel and atmospheric buildings. Later, we continue to McConnell's Distillery for the Signature Tour, where we enjoy a welcome drink before discovering the story and craft behind this historic Belfast whiskey name, with tastings included as part of the experience.
(2) DAY FOUR - Hillsborough Castle & Gardens
This morning we visit Hillsborough Castle, where we enjoy a guided tour of the elegant State Rooms and discover the stories of this historic royal residence. Afterwards, there is time to explore the beautiful gardens at leisure before returning to our hotel later in the day.
(3) DAY FIVE - Homeward Journey
After breakfast, we say farewell to Northern Ireland and travel to Belfast for our ferry crossing to Cairnryan. From here, we continue our journey home with comfort stops en route.
