(2) DAY ONE – Journey to Holland
We depart from your home and travel south to Dover, where we board our ferry for the crossing to Dunkirk. A meal voucher is included during our journey. On arrival in France, we continue into Holland and make our way to Kontakt der Kontinenten, our home for the next four nights.
(3) DAY TWO – Arnhem Airborne Museum
Today we travel to Arnhem for our included visit to the Airborne Museum. Fascinating exhibitions tell the story of the Battle of Arnhem and Operation Market Garden, offering a moving insight into this important chapter of Second World War history. Afterwards, enjoy some free time before we return to our hotel.
(4) DAY THREE – Het Loo Palace & Gardens
This morning we visit magnificent Het Loo Palace & Gardens, where we enjoy a self-guided visit exploring the impressive royal rooms and beautiful grounds. Our group follows the William & Mary route, showcasing the palace’s elegant 17th-century rooms, with time to enjoy the gardens before returning to our hotel.
(5) DAY FOUR – Museum Cruise & Simonehoeve
A wonderful Dutch experience awaits today as we board the museum ship MS Friesland in Enkhuizen for a relaxing cruise to Medemblik, with coffee and cake included on board. Afterwards, we continue to Simonehoeve, where we enjoy a traditional clog-making demonstration and have the opportunity to taste a selection of Dutch cheeses.
(6) DAY FIVE – Departure
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and begin our journey back towards Dunkirk. We board our ferry for the return crossing to Dover, with a meal voucher included, before continuing our journey home.
